PENGARUH KALIBRASI POMPA INJEKSI SEBARIS PADA MESIN DIESEL TERHADAP EMISI GAS BUANG DAN KONSUMSI BAHAN BAKAR

Abstract

The use of diesel motors is now very much, while diesel motors require periodic maintenance, especially at the injection pump which must be calibrated after disassembly. If the injection pump is not calibrated, it will affect the engine performance, and this will cause the car user to feel uncomfortable when driving the car because the car's performance is unstable, and also results in the amount of fuel consumption. To overcome this, the injection pump calibration process must be carried out. The calibration process is done by installing an injection pump on the calibration tool and connecting the injection pump with a drive motor, then turning on the AC and DC switches to open the solenoid so that fuel can flow, then turning the fuel load adjusting screw every 90 ° with an open and spanner wrench 14 mm and screw driver (-) with Rpm motor drive 1100, then do the test until the volume of fuel that comes out according to the standard 13-13.5 ml. The results of the trial before calibration showed 16ml of fuel volume, these results showed the fuel volume exceeded the standard (13-13.5 ml). After the injection pump is calibrated, the trial results show a volume of 13ml. These results indicate that the fuel volume is standard
