PENGETAHUAN TENTANG CACINGAN DAN UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KECACINGAN
Abstract
Introduction: Worming is a disease that is still a public health problem. Poor hygiene or dirty environment can be one factor that can facilitate the spread of worm infections. This has an impact on children's development, both physical, mental, intellectual intelligence. The purpose of the study was to analyze students' knowledge by preventing worms in students of SDN 076714 Hiliwaito, West Mandrehe District, West Nias Regency.Methods: This analytical survey research cross sectional approach. Sixty three students were involved as the population in this research. This research used total sampling techniq where in the number of sample equals to the number of population. In analyzing the data, chi-square test was used.Results: The results showed that students' knowledge was less by 41.3% and did not prevent by 60.3% with the statistical test results there was a relationship knowledge and prevention of worms in students with pvalue of 0,000 Conclusion: There is correlation of knowledge of students with prevention of worms at SDN 076714 hiliwaito. To the school, to be more active in promoting clean and healthy living behavior both individuals and the school environment in an effort to prevent intestinal worms in children.
