Abstract

An electric field will be generated by a charged conductor. This electric field will cause potential space around the conductor. Likewise with transmission lines that produce electric field exposure in a radial direction, space potentials will arise around the transmission line. As a result, conductive objects on earth that are under the transmission network in this case the roof of a house made of zinc will be exposed to an electric field (induced) so that it has a certain potential magnitude with respect to the earth. Exposure to the electric field that occurs at the surface points of an object has different concentrations. Usually around the house there are many trees. This can affect the exposure to the electric field under the transmission network so that the electric field exposure experienced by the roof of the house changes from its original state without the presence of trees. The potential of the roof of the house changes because the potential at a point is the result of the line integral of the electric field at that point.
