PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU AKSEPTOR KB TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI PIL DI KLINIK PRATAMA CINTA MALEM PATUMBAK TAHUN 2021

Abstract

Family planning is one of the most effective ways to increase family resilience, health and safety of mothers, children and women. Family planning services include providing information, education and ways for families to be able to plan when to have children, how many children, how many years the age gap between children, and when to stop having children. Pill contraceptives have high effectiveness when used regularly and a high level of knowledge about the pill. This study aims at describing the knowledge and attitudes of the family planning acceptor towards the use of the contraceptive pill. This type of research is descriptive in nature, which aims to explain or describe the research problem.The research method is accidental sampling. The sample size estimate is 25 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The research was conducted by giving a questionnaire to acceptors who visited the Pratama Cinta Malem Patumbak Clinic in 2021. The analytical test used is descriptive. Data analysis used is univariate analysis for frequency distribution. Results: It shows that of the 25 respondents who accept the Contraceptive Pills most of the attitudes agree with 44.0%, most agree with a percentage of 48.0%, and most of the knowledge is good with a percentage of 68.0%.

Conclusion: That the description of knowledge and attitudes towards the use of contraceptive pill means that the higher the level of knowledge, the better the attitude level for using KB pills. Therefore, health workers should provide full education for KB pill acceptors about the importance of information on the use of pill contraceptives and how to use them properly and to increase the role of health workers in facilitating and motivating pill family planning acceptors.
