PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK DAN PUPUK ORGANIK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis gueneensis Jacq)DI PRENURSERY

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) to Vedagro solid organic fertilizer and NPK fertilizer in pre nursery. The experiment was conducted in experimental garden of Agricultural Faculty of Darma Agung University of Medan Km 10.8 TD Pardede Complex with ± 23 meters above sea level. The implementation of this study began in May 2017 until August 2017.This research uses Random Factor Design  Factorial method consisting of 2 treatment factors. The dosage factor of Vedagro solid organic fertilizer consists of 3 levels: V1 = 5 g / polybag, V2 = 10 g / polybag and V3 = 15 g / polybag. The dosage factor of NPK Tawon fertilizer consists of 4 levels, namely: T0 = 0 g / polybag, T1 = 5 g / polybag, T2 = 10 g / polybag and T3 = 15 g / polybag. The results showed that Vedagro solid organic fertilizer up to 15 g / polybag can increase plant height, stem diameter, leaf number and length of oil palm seedlings in pre nursery, but not significant on the width and width of oil palm seedlings. NPK Tawon fertilizer up to a dose of 15 g / polybag can increase plant height, stem diameter, leaf length of leaf seedlings in pre nursery, but not significant on palm seed leaf width. Interaction dose of Vedagro solid organic fertilizer and NPK Tawon fertilizer have no significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width and leaf area of ​​palm seed plant in pre nursery
