RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (Alium ascalonicum L.) VARIETAS BANGKOK TERHADAP APLIKASI PUPUK KANDANG SAPI DAN PUPUK NITROGEN
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the response of the growth and production of onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) varieties of Bangkok to the application of cow manure and nitrogen fertilizer. Research conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Darma Agung University, Medan, Jl. TD Pardede with 25 m above sea level, which starts from June to August 2015. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with two factors, namely the treatment dosage concentration of manure and nitrogen fertilizers. The first factor is the dose of cow manure (S), which consists of three levels, namely: S0 = 0 ton/ha (0 g/polybag), S1 = 20 tonnes/ha (100 g/polybag) and S2 = 40 tonnes/ha (200 g / polybag). The second factor is the dose of fertilizer nitrogen (N) with four types of treatment, namely: N0 = 0 kg / ha (0 g/polybag) Urea, N1 = 200 kg/ ha (1 g/polybag) urea and N2 = 400 kg/ha (2 g/polybag) urea. The results showed that the dosing of cow manure up to 200 g/polybag (40 tons/ha) significantly increased plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, number of tillers, the diameter of the bulbs, tubers per plant fresh weight and wet weight of tuber per plot. Nitrogen fertilizer dosing of up to 2 g/polybag (400 kg/ha) significantly increased plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, number of tillers, the diameter of the bulbs, tubers per plant fresh weight and wet weight of tuber per plot. Interaction doses of cow manure and nitrogen effect no significant effect on the real increase plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, number of tillers, the diameter of the bulbs, tubers per plant fresh weight and wet weight of tuber per plot.
