Pengaruh Jarak Tanam dan Pupuk Organik Granular terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Varietas Ampenan

Abstract

The aims of this study to know the effect of plant spacing and organic fertilizer on the growth of onion. The research was conducted at Jl. Binjai km 10,8. This study was carried out from May to August 2014. This study used a randomized block design  factorial with two factors. The first factor were the spacing (A), which consists of 3 types were J1 = 20 cm  x 20 cm; J2 = 20 cm x 25 cm; dan J3 = 20 cm x 15 cm. The second factor were organic granular (K), which consists 4 types : K0 =  0 kg/plot; K1 = 1 kg/plot; K2 = 2 kg/plot;  dan K3 =  3 kg/plot.


            The results showed that plant spacing had significant increase plant height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, tuber fresh weight per sample, fresh weight of tubers per plot, dry weight of tubers per sample and dry weight of tubers per plot.  The organic granular had significantly increased plant height, number of leaves, diametre of tuber, tuber fresh weight per sample, fresh weight of tubers per plot, dry weight of tubers per sample and dry weight of tubers per plot. Interaction plant spacing and dose of organic fertilizer had not significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, but significantly increased the diametre of the bulb, tuber fresh weight per sample, fresh weight of tubers per plot, dry weight of tubers per sample and dry weight of tubers per plot.
