OPTIMALISASI PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU KAIN PADA BATIK D’ERTE
Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengelolaan persediaan bahan baku kain di Batik D'erte, dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan sistem persediaan untuk mendukung kelancaran produksi secara efisien. Pengelolaan persediaan yang efektif menjadi elemen penting dalam keberhasilan operasional perusahaan. Persediaan harus cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi, namun biaya penyimpanan juga perlu dikendalikan agar tetap efisien. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan beberapa metode, yaitu Total Inventory Cost (TIC), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock, dan Reorder Point (ROP), dengan menggunakan data kuantitatif dari sumber sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Batik D'erte selama satu tahun melakukan pemesanan kain sebanyak 12 kali, dengan total 2.580 potong kain dan total biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 23.399.980. Dengan metode EOQ, jumlah pemesanan optimal adalah 745 potong kain dalam 3,46 kali pemesanan per tahun. Penerapan metode ini dapat mengurangi total biaya persediaan menjadi Rp12.470.695, sehingga perusahaan menghemat Rp 10.929.285 per tahun. Sebagai langkah antisipasi untuk mencegah kekurangan stok, perusahaan disarankan menyimpan cadangan bahan baku (Safety Stock) sebesar 56 unit kain. Selain itu, titik pemesanan ulang (Reorder Point) dapat ditetapkan saat stok mencapai 105 unit kain, untuk memastikan kelancaran proses produksi tetap terjaga.
