SIMPANAN BIJI GULMA (Seedbank) DAN PERSENTASE PERKECAMBAHAN GULMA PADA PERTANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays) VARIETAS BONANZA F1 DALAM BERBAGAI JARAK TANAM YANG BERBEDA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentitifikasi jenis gulma dan simpanan biji gulma pada pertanaman jagung manis varietas bonanza F1 dengan jarak tanam yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non factorial, dengan perlakuan jarak tanam pada tanaman jagung manis dan terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu (J1) 40 cm x 25 cm (J2) 40 cm x 25 cm, (J3) 60 cm x 25 cm, (J4) 20 cm x 25 cm. Parameter yang diamati adalah simpanan biji gulma dan persentase perkecambahan. Hasil penelitian menjunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap simpanan biji gulma dan persentase perkecambahan biji gulma. Simpanan biji gulma tertinggi terdapat pada jarak tanam (J1) 40 sm x 25 cm, sedangkan persentase perkecambahan biji gulma tertinggi terdapat pada (J4) 70 cm x 25 cm.
