DISABILITAS PASIEN LOW BACK PAIN DI RUMAH SAKIT UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA
Abstract
Low Back Pain (LBP) makes a very large contribution to disability in general. This study aims at describing the disabilities of LBP patients at the University Hospital of North Sumatra. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive design. The population in this study is all patients who were LBP who were undergoing outpatient care at the University of North Sumatra hospital with a total sample of 40 people. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with the sampling method, namely consecutive sampling. The data collection tool used in this study was the Westry Low Back Pain Disability Questioner disability questionnaire. The results show that the disability experienced by patients with LBP at the North University Hospital was mild with a percentage of 72.5%. Based on the results of the above study, it can be concluded that the majority of LBP patients have mild disabilities.
